We reduce plastic bottle waste, the quality remains

Polyneon Green is a premium embroidery thread created in response to the global demand to reduce plastic bottles. This waste affects the balance of our environment; with Polyneon Green, we are reducing the amount of plastic in the environment and making the textile industry more sustainable.

Carefully produced, this new thread possesses the same high-quality standards as all other polyester threads form Madeira.

So you can enjoy creating premium, resistant, and shiny embroideries while reducing the impact on the environment.

Stitchi those bottles!

It takes up to 450 years for a PET bottle to break down but it is never truly gone. Yet the amount of such plastic that ends up in landfills and the oceans has increased dramatically over the last 50 years.

Recycling and reusing has grown vital. Everyone can play their part in the solution by reducing the plastic containers we use, recycling, and choosing recycled products manufactured from post-consumer waste.

Try Polyneon Green and you will be amazed at just how far we have come in creating shiny new premium thread out of old PET bottles.

Recycling plain plastic into radiant embroideries

Our Polyneon green thread is manufacutured using recycled transparent bottles made of polyethylene terephthalate (PET). The process gives post-consumer waste a second life in brilliant, shiny colours. By reusing existing materials, no new waste is created, and non-renewable resources are saved.
